What is Radial Tunnel Syndrome?
Radial Tunnel Syndrome is a condition caused by irritation or compression of the radial nerve as it passes through a narrow area in the upper forearm called the radial tunnel. It commonly causes a deep, aching pain around the outer side of the elbow and upper forearm, which may worsen with gripping, lifting, twisting, or repetitive arm movements. Unlike some other nerve compression conditions, significant numbness or muscle weakness is not always present. Radial Tunnel Syndrome can sometimes be confused with Tennis Elbow, as both conditions can cause pain around the outer elbow. However, Radial Tunnel Syndrome involves irritation of the radial nerve, while Tennis Elbow primarily affects the tendons attached to the outside of the elbow.

What Are The Symptoms Of Radial Tunnel Syndrome?
